Privacy Policy
Effective date: March 14, 2026
GameFibre is built with a privacy-first, offline-first approach.
Summary
- Your library data is stored locally on your device.
- GameFibre is ad-free and does not sell personal data.
- You can export your data (for example as JSON or Excel-compatible formats).
- The app continues to work offline with your locally stored library.
Data we process
-
Library and settings data: game lists, custom lists, favorites, completion status,
wishlist, play-next choices, and app preferences.
-
Connected platform identifiers: IDs needed to import your Steam, GOG, or Epic library.
-
Optional diagnostics/analytics: limited, aggregated product insights used to improve
stability and user experience.
How we use data
- To show and organize your unified game library.
- To power features such as custom lists and mini games.
- To enrich game metadata (for example artwork and playtime estimates).
- To improve app quality and fix issues.
Storage and retention
Your core GameFibre data is stored on-device. You control this data and can remove it by clearing app data
or uninstalling the app.
Exported files are stored wherever you choose to save them.
Third-party services
GameFibre can connect to third-party platforms and metadata providers to display your library and enrich
game information. Those services have their own privacy policies and terms.
Examples include Steam, GOG, Epic Games, SteamGridDB, and HowLongToBeat.
Your controls
- Disconnect linked platforms in the app.
- Delete local app data from your device settings.
- Export your data for backup or portability.
Children's privacy
GameFibre is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data through
our services, contact us and we will review and handle the request.
Policy updates
We may update this policy when features or legal requirements change. Updates are published on this page
with a revised effective date.
